Relationships Explained The Yogic Way

We all know that we come in this world alone and go back alone. We will not be accompanied by anyone, no matter how close or dear we are to them, or they to us. Pause a minute and think: the majority of our problems stem from our near and dear ones. That is, relatives, immediate family, enemies and friends, not from someone unknown? You will also find that the root cause of arguments, fights, emotional turmoil, congestions, broken relationships and business losses are also these very people. So it is safe to conclude that for the greater part of our lives we get troubled, not by absolute strangers but by people who are known to us.

Your relationship with every individual is a result of basic principle--as you sow so shall you get--it is a mere give and take. This give and take is a pay-back of our karmas from our previous births and from this lifetime. You get associated with people because they need something from you and you need something from them too. Without any level of dependency or give and take you will not remain in touch with people. The amazing fact is that you remain caught in this cycle of give and take lifetime after lifetime.

This is the state of the common man; who forgets that he is alone, he then gets troubled by those seeming to be close to him. Such a turbulent life leads to innumerable ailments and diseases, hyperactivity and a general state of dishevelment. In contrast a practitioner of Sanatan Kriya who follows the path of yoga and sadhna reaches a state of detachment wherein he does not get affected by anyone or any situation or for that matter by anything that happens around him. Neither is the practitioner troubled by anyone nor does he trouble anyone. While this state is devoid of emotional congestion it does not imply that he is missing out on any aspect of life. It's like how it happens in a video game. Once you have crossed a particular level you won't go back to it, for there are better more exciting levels ahead. Similarly, while the body indulges in pleasures, it is merely experiencing the pleasure and not attaching itself to it.

Yogic techniques and practices prescribed in the Sanatan Kriya reveal that root cause of majority of problems lies in your Surya Chakra located in the solar plexus region. This chakra is highly volatile and forms connections with everyone we meet in our daily life. These connections can be seen clairvoyantly as tubes or strings. Constant exchange of energy of varying frequencies through these connections between people slowly congests the free flow of energy. We all know that your body is like a beautiful flowing river of energy called prana. And any congestions or blockages in this channel will obstruct the flow of prana. Interestingly, this is also the region where the thymus gland that is responsible for immunity and preservation and also all the organs that preserve the body are located. Due to the congestions the chakra gets into a state of imbalance and may get depleted or hyperactive. These etheric congestions manifest on the physical in the form of shortness of breath or deranged stomach. Physical ailments like asthma, high blood pressure and arthritis follow closely and if this imbalance continues for a long period of time it can also cause irreversible damages and even cancers!

The very fact that you would not find anyone who is emotionally congested (for a period of time) and yet remains healthy in the long run, substantiates the above. Detachment is the key. To begin with, you can decongest the Surya Charka with the following simple technique. Take your awareness to the surya chakra, which constantly forms connections with whomever you see, meet or interact during the day. It is situated in the centre where your rib cage ends. Simply take your right hand as if it were a knife and cut your connections. Incidentally, if you do this practice before you go to bed, your sleep will be deep and restful. It has been observed that the regular practice of Sanatan Kriya helps decongest the chakras and brings a beautiful flow and balance of prana in the being. Relief from chronic ailments happens to be one of the by products of this practice.

difference between ‘meditation’ and dhyan?

"The difference between meditation and dhyan is that between shoonya (this is not to be confused with shoonyata, here it refers literally to zero) and poorna . Dhyan is state of complete awareness-inside and outside- it is a Poorna state, whereas meditation is a big zero. In meditation what a person does is he/she thinks of a certain thing and therefore it is basically no better than day dreaming, where as in dhyan you are aware of everything .Swami Satyananand Paramhans (Bihar School of Yog) described meditation as a ‘moodh ’ state or a lower state. Now a days, the subject of yog and tantra have been totally misrepresented. I was watching a programme on a ‘spiritual’ channel and there I saw a very elderly woman sharing her thoughts on ‘spirituality’. So I thought let me listen into what she has to say. After her discourse she made the viewers do dhyan and sat herself in dhyan as well. When it was over, she came out with some sort of jerk in her body. Anybody who knows the st

Gyan Vs Knowledge

"There is a huge difference between knowledge and gyan . Let me give an example. When I was appearing for my class 10 exams, I found that as it is I am bad in maths apart from that I was weak in Geography as well and in our school whoever used to fail in two subjects used to fail in that class. So I still remember that I memorised the whole book, chapter-wise and in the exam for each question I wrote the entire chapter. So ultimately the examiner must have thought that I have written so much (even though irrelevant) that he gave me passing marks- exactly 33 %. So, you may know entire chapters on Yoga but the  gyan  will still not be there. When you do yog or  dhyan ,  gyan  comes to you constantly. As you progress  Gyan  comes to you step by step. When you receive  gyan  you take one step, then you receive more gyan and move to the next step and so on and so forth. This progress is not dependent on time. Gyan will come to you only when you are connected to your Guru; without thi
