Sanskrit is the oldest language known to man. It is considered to be the very origin of language itself; that from which all languages have arisen or evolved. Unlike popular belief, Sanskrit is not a language only of scriptures or hymns and chants chanted in rituals and ceremonies; it was used in earlier times by everyone - philosophers, scientists, mathematicians, poets and playwrights, grammarians etc. In grammar, Panini and Patanjali (authors of Ashtadhyayi and the Mahabhashya) have no equals in the world; in astronomy and mathematics the works of Aryabhatta, Brahmagupta and Bhaskaracharya opened up new frontiers for mankind, as did the works of Charak and Sushrut in medicine. People dont stop to notice even the fellow beings, leave apart the dog............everyone is running to his/ her destination leaving virtues behind.
ReplyDeleteeven if people stop they won't help...coz we lack the zeal to take accountability...so busy wid own lives where is the time to help beings in need.....everyone likes to talk about qualities of compassion, helping each other etc..only in movie halls...in real life we r so full of ourself that we don't lend ears to r own conscience.......it's time that as youth of the nation we take this in r own stride..all we need to do is whenever we see some situation, call city's yellow pages and find out #'s fr the ngo's , vet or emergency SOS..we need to be more aware..
ReplyDeleteplus most of the people have forgotten the basic humanity ingredients of *feeling connected* and *compassion* towards others...the people these days are kinda *enslaved* in their own small world comprising of just 2-3 persons that they cannot even think of looking outside of their world and helping others!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you come to think of it... the funny part is that we don't even seem to value our own lives... as yogiji says it is good karma of so many life times that we get a human birth and all we do with it is spend it in pursuit of pleasures of the basic 5 senses... only when one doesn't have something does one realize the worth of it...wht an irony!
ReplyDeleteThe last i heard... Dogs were supposed to be 'Man's best friend' !
ReplyDeleteOr maybe those Goans changed it to 'Screw our friends, what do we care?! Let's just drink, eat and make merry!'
even when ppl see smthing like this many time they jst neglect it saying "its jst a street dog". human have become so great businessman that they have started measuring life with money they might could have helped if it would had been an expensive breed. thats what they say is evolution they are evolving to better human. but actually they all have a evolving business person in them. who only invest his/her time in profitable(only currency) things.
