Pollution-Slow death of mankind!

Take a look around your surroundings...now try and recall how your surrounding was 5 years back...now try and go a little more back in time say about 10 years back...What is the major difference that you notice? Iam sure you'll concur with me that the most evident & visible difference in the environment is that it has become from good to bad and is going towards becoming from bad to worse. There is more of concrete and synthetic material around than the natural resources that we so much used to enjoy. Don't we keep cribbing as to how polluted the air now is that one can't breathe fresh air in the city, or how polluted the water is ?{I actually know a woman who washes her hair with Bisleri due to Delhi water being so polluted :-) I personally believe that all of this is nothing but reflection of our thoughts, as all actions and changes are just manifestations of thoughts. We want fleet of cars on our doors and ultimately increase to the city's pollution, we have increased the demand of artificial materials which when created cause pollution and on top of it cannot be destroyed either so, there you go adding on to more pollution... Now that we have become so self centered we just look at the short term benefits that caters only to the "ME" and we really would not care about our future generations because per our limited bhuddi we think we won't be there in future to witness a messed up surrounding, then how does it matter? But,what we really need to realize is that future is not 10years from now but future is every next moment which is not present as of now and all of this is affecting us right now, try comparing your health with what your parent's health was and then with what your grandparents health was during the same age, you'll get the answer...Also, these negative causes will hold on to our souls from being one with the divine , as a result it won't be anyone else but us who will come back to witness the tougher future....So, let us try and purify our thoughts, our surrounding and our world... P.S I used the word" try " because I know it is easier said than done, but I am sure every action counts so it is better atleast trying and keep trying than to just discuss this and do nothing i.e. not even try :-)...

  2. I am glad that you asked this question...The moment you start seeking that who can help us purify our thoughts, and what is our purpose in life, be rest assured that the credit of your good karmas is allowing you to explore the right track..now,the next step is to connect with the Guru. The Guru indeed is an energy within us that with the help of basic Sanatan Kriya( formulated from Ashtang yog-the yoga for the latter day i.e. Kalyug , by yogi ashwini ji) can be experienced..Once that is done the process of purification of thoughts start....All of this will only happen when your good Karmas allow , so ,for the beginners best thing to do is, as much charity as possible and try to reflect within , you'll be surprised that the answers will come from within, the change will happen from within...and then, you would not have to force yourself to not to be selfish because selfishness will automatically leave you. The way water gets evaporated into the clouds and the impurities are left behind similarly one's body and soul becomes light and the heavier things are left behind..Trust you me all of this needs to be experienced, one cannot go by others experience so go ahead and connect with the supreme energy within and have your own experience ...

difference between ‘meditation’ and dhyan?

"The difference between meditation and dhyan is that between shoonya (this is not to be confused with shoonyata, here it refers literally to zero) and poorna . Dhyan is state of complete awareness-inside and outside- it is a Poorna state, whereas meditation is a big zero. In meditation what a person does is he/she thinks of a certain thing and therefore it is basically no better than day dreaming, where as in dhyan you are aware of everything .Swami Satyananand Paramhans (Bihar School of Yog) described meditation as a ‘moodh ’ state or a lower state. Now a days, the subject of yog and tantra have been totally misrepresented. I was watching a programme on a ‘spiritual’ channel and there I saw a very elderly woman sharing her thoughts on ‘spirituality’. So I thought let me listen into what she has to say. After her discourse she made the viewers do dhyan and sat herself in dhyan as well. When it was over, she came out with some sort of jerk in her body. Anybody who knows the st

Gyan Vs Knowledge

"There is a huge difference between knowledge and gyan . Let me give an example. When I was appearing for my class 10 exams, I found that as it is I am bad in maths apart from that I was weak in Geography as well and in our school whoever used to fail in two subjects used to fail in that class. So I still remember that I memorised the whole book, chapter-wise and in the exam for each question I wrote the entire chapter. So ultimately the examiner must have thought that I have written so much (even though irrelevant) that he gave me passing marks- exactly 33 %. So, you may know entire chapters on Yoga but the  gyan  will still not be there. When you do yog or  dhyan ,  gyan  comes to you constantly. As you progress  Gyan  comes to you step by step. When you receive  gyan  you take one step, then you receive more gyan and move to the next step and so on and so forth. This progress is not dependent on time. Gyan will come to you only when you are connected to your Guru; without thi
